Whitley Bombers at RAF Driffield

Daventry (RAF Official Photographer), this series of photographs was
taken on March 7th 1940.
No.102 and No.77
Squadrons flew the Armstrong Whitworth Whitley from Driffield, until
shortly after the German Air Raid on August 15th 1940.
Copies of these
photographs can be ordered direct from the
Imperial War Museum. Each photograph reproduced here features a
negative number, which should be used when ordering enlargements.
I would like to

Incidentally, Ian's father was based at Driffield during his
National Service.
